The Lane Family

We just returned yesterday from a few days vacation at the beach! We had a great time swimming, golfing, and visiting with Kirby’s folks. Kevin filled up every conceivable minute of time with activity, while Cady was content to shop for souvenirs and play at the beach house. It was a long drive, but well worth it as the kids had a ball and did not want to leave!

Of course, they both said some funny things while we were there- Cady announced that she loved the “hula” trees, and that’s how she knew we were at the beach; Kevin told us in the car that, “There sure are some beautiful ladies here in Florida!” We realized that his defintion of “beautiful” meant young and bikini-clad when we asked him to point to some of these beautiful ladies while we drove to dinner. We are really going to have to keep a close eye on him in a couple of years!

The week of June 25th was Kevin’s turn to go to the farm for camp! He had a great time, and got to be there with a few old friends from Pre-K. They rode horses, fed and washed the farm animals, and even got to spend one day on the waterslide. Kevin’s favorite horse, Rodney, was there again this year, and I was able to get several pictures of them together. I will do my best to post them over the weekend.
